The Takeover Project with Southbank Centre

Having frequented Southbank for so many years I’m super proud to be the co-facilitator on the Takeover project.

This year, we took young people through 6 sessions unravelling what it means to make and engage with art.

We focussed on the work of Tavares Strachan which was featured in the Hayward Gallery.

The young people curated a full day of activities which led to 500 primary school students arriving at the Southbank to enjoy the art of Tavares Strachan and the fun-pack activities.

It was a real blast!
