Working with Kings College London
Over the last 5 years I’ve worked with many Universities including Mountview, Goldsmiths and Roehampton. However, my work with Kings is very special. Over the course of the year 8 facilitators from science and art backgrounds work with first year medical students to consider art’s role in creating good medical practice.
What do we have to teach students from Kings?
Most of the work centres around emotion. Finding ways of improving our communication skills and encouraging students to empathise with their patients in their local practises. This culminates in a sharing of the work at Somerset House. It’s a powerful reflection of the importance of art in healthcare settings.
