Tutor at Arvon with the winners of the Foyle’s Young poet of the year competition

The Foyle’s Young poet of the year prize is known as one of the most important contests for young poets in the world. So I was honoured to be asked to tutor for their prize winners. It meant 12 poets from across the world were brought together in Shroshire for a week of fun, laughter and poetry. It was also fulfilling an ambition I have always had to tutor at Arvon, a retreat for writers.
